These terms apply when you use TLDscout (tldscout.xyz), run by C.S. Assets LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using TLDscout you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. What TLDscout is

TLDscout is a free search tool that shows whether a name looks available across many domain extensions, reference prices, and links to registrars. TLDscout is not a registrar, doesn't sell or reserve domain names, and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any registrar or registry.

2. Results are a guide, not a guarantee

• Availability. "Not in DNS" means the extension's nameservers don't list the name; that makes it likely, not certain, to be available. Registries may reserve names, charge premium prices, or the name may be registered by someone else at any moment. Even a registry's answer to Verify is only correct at the time it was given. A name is yours only once a registrar has registered it for you.
• Prices. Prices are registrars' published standard prices in US dollars, from their price lists, as of the time shown, before VAT or sales tax. They may have changed since, and they don't include premium prices, promotions or fees. The registrar's checkout is final.
• We work to keep results accurate, but we can't promise that the service will always be available, complete, current or error-free.

3. Fair use

TLDscout is for people looking for a domain name. Please don't:

• use it in bulk or by automated means: scripts, bots, scrapers, or anything that runs searches or Verify lookups without a person behind each one;
• get around the bot check, rate limits or any other protection, or make requests from many addresses to multiply your limits;
• copy, collect or republish TLDscout's results or price data as a dataset, or resell them;
• use TLDscout to harm others, overload it or the services it relies on (DNS operators, registries, registrars), or break any law.

We may limit or block access that breaks these rules, or that puts the service or the registries it asks at risk.

4. Registrar links and how we earn money

Some links to registrars are paid links (labelled "paid link"): if you buy through one, the registrar may pay us a commission. It doesn't change your price or the order of results. When you follow a link you leave TLDscout. Registrars' and other sites' terms and privacy policies apply there; we're not responsible for their content, prices or services, or for any purchase you make from them.

5. Data from others

Results use data from third parties, including IANA, DNS operators, registries, Porkbun's public price list and cfdomainpricing.com (MIT licence). That data remains theirs. Registrar and registry names are their owners' trademarks, used only to identify them.

6. No warranty

TLDscout is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, C.S. Assets LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities or a domain name you didn't get, arising from your use of TLDscout. Our total liability for any claim about TLDscout is limited to US $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you; nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts for Alachua County, Florida, unless the law where you live as a consumer gives you the right to bring a claim at home.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use TLDscout after a change means you accept it.
